My New Saddle!

I finally got my new saddle in - I'm so excited! I got to ride in it yesterday and I absolutely love it! It's really, really comfortable and it fits Essie sooooo well!

I'm sorry I haven't posted in so long. I've had a few complications with an appendectomy, so it'll be a few days before I ride again :-( I sold Buddy last week, so I'm going to try to get a few parting shots with him before the new owners pick him up. I'll post as soon as I can! :-)

Milkin' Time

I finally found the pictures - this is what I do twice a day rain or shine. JoAnna is my big milking helper. She loves to squeeze out as much milk as she can - she's actually pretty good!












The other day she came in and announced that she milked a lot and I milked a little bit. I thought it was pretty funny!

I know this is off the subject of horses, but this is Cindy, our Jersey cow. I have pictures of milking somewhere, but I can't find them right now, so that will have to wait 'til later.

Cowboy!

For those of you who never got to meet this horse, I figured I'd post a couple of pix of Cowboy. He was soooooooooooo sweet!!!!! He was one of the most lovable horses I ever had.












I still miss him, especially his softness, but it's a relief not to have to think about what to do next with him. I also don't have to worry about getting hurt - not that I usually do, but with him it was a big thing!
