An Awsome God!

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

What is man that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Psalm 8:3-5

This is Cindy shortly before she calved. She doesn't look as fat as she did last week because the calf had already dropped.

Here are the horses all together. L to R: Essie, Montana, Penny, Brandy.

Here's one of all the livestock together. They are usually all spread out over the pasture, so I was surprised to find them all in the same area.

I felt so bad for this girl - her udder was so big that she had a hard time walking anywhere!
She feels much better now!

Here's her baby.

Evening at Lora's

On Tuesday Lora invited a bunch of girls over for an evening of games. This is kick-the-can - thank you, Lora!

Can you see Lora behind the wood pile?

The sky was incredible that evening - there were really dark, black clouds, but the sun was shining, which gave an interesting twist to the pictures!

Yes, the windshield on our van is dirty! :-)

Look at how dark the sky is, yet the sun is shining directly on the house.

Beautiful fall!

Guess Who's In The Bathroom?

I took one look at this, and there was no question about who was busy behind that door! :-)

New Additions!

Well, Ebony left yesterday. We'll all miss her greatly, but two other horses have taken her place.

Essie is the dominant mare, so she's learning to accept her new charges!

The red roan is named Brandy, and the black is Penny. JoAnna is thrilled - can you tell?

Here's an up-to-date picture of Montana. I just can't wait until she turns 3!

Beautiful Colors!

I figured I'd better try to get a few pictures of the colors before they're gone!

They don't seem as bright as usual though.

I just thought the cloud formation here was interesting.

This is the unfinished roundpen - now it's not looking like it will ever be finished! :-)
