What do you do for fun in the country?

Some workers have been putting a fiber optic cable along the road in front of our house. Daddy asked for the reels for the paintball course, but in the meantime...

The boys found many fun uses for it and have become quite skilled!

More Random Pix!

I finally got my saddle rigged the way I wanted it. I had to replace one of the D rings, and then I added strings, a flank cinch, and a breast collar. I went ahead and got a new saddle pad too.

The trees are starting to turn!

JoAnna came in the living room the other day and announced that she was the "King".

We went to pick plums on Monday, and Daddy stopped so I could take this picture. The problem is that I didn't set the white balance for a cloudy day!

Trip to Tahquamenon Falls

There are two large waterfalls along this stretch of the Tahquamenon River - this is the upper falls.

It felt so good to be sprayed by the mist coming up!

A couple of us went to the lower falls at night, so that's where this and the next pic came from.

(My flash wasn't bright enough to light up the falls clearly)

Lydia was having too much fun taking everyone else's pic, so I took hers!

I'm not sure if this is a different river or a branch of the Tahquamenon.

I love the color in this one!

Random Pix

This the newest addition to the farm as of right now. Yah, he's being raised for beef. Josiah decided to do a little investing! :-)

He's growing fast!

These are the chickens that DIDN'T die in the massacre!

Caleb was playing around with a scroll saw and made these for me. Aren't they cute?

See ya Later!

I thought this one was cute of the horses.

I know this is supposed to be a horse blog, but you can only take so many horse pictures... :-)

Bet you can't guess where this collar hangs?

We did peaches this week, so that's done - for a little while! :-)

Now I can post my own pictures of Lydia! :-) [wink]
