Tony's Buck

On Saturday evening Tony shot an 8 point buck.

He was a nice little guy, and we got a good bit of meat.

The great hunter!

Boy did the quad make things nice! :-)

Day with the Stellema Girls

On Wednesday the Stellema girls had a few other girls over for a "goodbye party" for Lora. This is while we were eating lunch.
Pulling taffy

The chocolate game got a little aggresive! :-)

The look on Lily's face is priceless!

While the taffy cooled we had a photoshoot, thanks to Lily as our photographer

Behind bars!
We all ganged up and decided to get rid of Lora! :-)

Unfortunately, the timer on my camera would not set long enough for Lily to get into the house and upstairs with us.

Colors Near Our House

This is right across the road from our house.
Is this pretty or what?
Our new truck - hoping to do lots of trail rides next summer!

Cooking at the Templeton's

Fall Colors!

Zach took us to a really cool place on a hill outside of Mesick.
This was one kind of a hill! Zach's blocking the tires while Lydia gets her cam.
In the back of our truck with Bandit.

We all got in the back of Zach's truck for this hill!
This is as far up as he could go because of the corner - it seems most trucks are too long to get around.

My sweetheart!

At the High Rollaways.
I tried to tire Bandit out, but it had the opposite affect!

Mackinac Island

On Friday we went over the bridge to St. Ignace, and then came back and stayed the night in Mackinaw City.
This is at Colonial Michilimackinac.
The lighthouse.
It was really foggy that evening, but it made for a cool pic!

A beautiful sunset!
On Saturday we took the 8:30 ferry over to Mackinac Island. We biked the 8 miles around the island and this is about 1 1/2 - 2 miles into our bike trip. If you noticed, I slipped on a rock trying to get up next to Tony, and got my feet soaked!

This team of horses was from the Grand Hotel. The near horse was close to 18 hh - HUGE! He was a real sweety though - he saw my waterbottle in my pocket, reached out with his teeth to grab it, and dropped it on the ground.
Tony hiked up to Arch Rock to take this pic. Pretty?

Another pic from our bike trip.
A view of the Grand Hotel from the ferry on our way back.
